EQL division 5 champions Na Fianna have joined up to Europes premier TDM competition "NQR" to partake in the bronze division which has a mixture of div3/4/5 teams. The lads have made a great start winning their first 3 games without droping a map. You can follow the results at http://nqr.nu/nqr11/

With a very active Irish scene at the moment we were also able to spilt the team in two and create Na Fianna B who also joined up to NQR aswell in the rookie division. Lead by the influential Stev they have just played their first game and secured a 2-0 win.

Bronze Div (A Squad)
http://nqr.nu/nqr11/division/23
Were currently top of Bronze, struggling to get games but hopefully by the end of this week (Mar 16th) well have plenty under our belts. Poor old Johnie has lost his connect and Driz (our aussie buddy occupying the foreign berth in the clan) is just back from down under.
Big game against our rivals Naim coming up!

Rookie Div (B Squad)

The lads are sitting pretty in 4th spot with games at hand on everyone above them. Couple of 2-0 wins with colonel paving the way. Stev, flah (Overlord), bongo (CW-Blade), f (CD-fury) are all getting games in. I reckon we stand a good chance of winning Rookie Div.

We are now in the final week of the group stages, and both clans have a stainless victory record.

Playoffs start next week and we both have a tough time ahead of us with the A squad having NAIM as their fiercest competitors (and probably the only clan capable of challenging them) and the B squad having 3 tough clans all entering the playoff stages with them.

The B squads lossless record means they get a bye to the semi-finals, unless they are overtaken in the next few days due to a surge of activity from lower clans.

Congratulations to Fian A for extending their unbeaten streak by beating naim 2-1 in their group match today.

Naim were far and away the favourites, but fian A proved that teamplay and communication wins out over a division 1 ringer.

well if you missed it the lads are sitting pretty at the top of the table now with nine games played, nine games won and only one map loss. Looks like no more games till playoffs. These games will have cams and maybe some commentary so download ezquake/nquake if your interested in viewing them. Ill post scheduled games here when they get organised. The lads are causing quite a stir this year with requests for an interview with john"ill take all the pwr ups and armor"_rambo.
